What happens if the trip doesn't reach 13 passengers?
If the minimum threshold of 13 passengers is not reached before the departure date, the trip is cancelled and all passengers receive a full refund to their original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Can I cancel my booking?
Please contact us on WhatsApp or email to request a cancellation. Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel relative to the departure date.
When do trips depart?
Fridays from Cape Town (direction: Cape Town → Upington) and Sundays from Upington (direction: Upington → Cape Town). Specific departure times are communicated when your trip is confirmed.
Can I board at any stop?
On the Friday route, you can board at Kraaifontein, Bellville, Kuilsrivier, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Wellington, Malmesbury, Piketberg, Citrusdal, Klawer, Vanrhynsdorp, or Calvinia. On the Sunday route, at Upington, Keimoes, Kenhardt, Brandvlei, Calvinia, Nieuwoudtville, Vanrhynsdorp, or Klawer.
Why is my seat only for a segment?
To maximise the service's efficiency, seats are shared across the route. A passenger boarding in Paarl and disembarking in Calvinia frees up their seat from Calvinia onward — allowing someone else to use it for the remaining journey. You always get the seat number you selected for your full booked segment.
How do I know when my trip is confirmed?
You'll receive an email (and WhatsApp if applicable) as soon as the trip reaches 13 passengers and is activated. You can also check the Trip Status page any time to see the current passenger count.
